ok so i dont know what happend, but I got new speakers put in professinaly (if that has any relivance) and ever since, my compass has gone completly insane.... finaly the other nite it said "calibrate" and I did as the owners manual told and I drove in circles less than 10 mph and it showed it was calibrated, well it worked really good for about two days, now its almost reading completly backwards, infact today i was driving south, and it read north east???? any ideas why this could be happening

The speakers are throwing the compass off.
There is a techinfo on moving the sensor

The magnets are bigger and probably shielded less. Doesn't matter who put them in. If they didn't know the compass module is dead center between the speakers, they didn't know.

Relocate the module and you will be fine. Many move it above the headliner near the back window.

oo i see, that would deffinetly make since, those magnets on those speakers are pretty heavy duty..thanx guys very much appreciated!!!
