Default Trunk Popper

Hey everyone,

My trunk popper button on my drivers door doesn't work anymore, I can still use my FOB, just not the button on my door, any ideas as to what might be wrong with it?

Thanks

Those buttons are flakey, at best. Mine quit working a while ago. I have a replacement, just waiting on the weather and schedule to coincide so I can replace it.

Does it feel like it could be stuck in? I used some mild natural degreaser to unstick mine.

Uh..guys..hold on a second.

Pop the trunk. Look down at the button to lock out the door button for the trunk. Press it the other way. Go pop trunk from door button.

My exact thoughts too, Bill.

Huskernation -- if you need a new button, PM me. I have a brand new one from GM in my garage. I bought it thinking my button was bad, too. Ended up being the valet switch in the trunk.

Props to you guys,

It was the switch in the trunk, it wasn't fully pushed either way, but just enough to where it locked anyone out of using the button on the driver door.

Thanks to everyone who helped.

Glad it was an easy fix. Always good when you can save time fixing the car and head straight to beer.
