Default Thinking back to last summer

I replaced the headlight switch with a brand spankin' new one about a year ago. Worked all nice and spiffy. Recently, I've noticed that I can no longer manually turn the headlights off (yes, in Park). I really don't want to replace that switch again. Any ideas? Not really a major issue, but it'd be nice for those ... nights ...

Excuse the thread hijack, but I have a new switch to install (courtesy of Boosty) and have been having trouble getting the trim removed to get out the switch. If you did it yourself, can you PM me the steps?

Also, did the new switch affect the brightness of your dash lights? That'* why I'm replacing mine.

Rotate the **** a bit and push the switch in and out a coupla dozen times. Bet you had some corrosion build up because you never use the switch.
