Default TC & ABS lights

A few days ago, my Traction Off and ABS lights would come on a couple minutes after starting to drive, but would go off when I turned off the car. On startup the next time the lights were off but would come on after a couple minutes again. I looked at the brake fluid reservior which was full and at the wheel speed sensors on the front wheels and didn't find anything unusual and made sure they were tight. Last night the lights came on again after a few minutes as usual but for some reason they eventually went off, maybe after 25 minutes. They don't come on at all anymore. I don't know if I'm just lucky or what!! Weird though! It was raining heavily last night so maybe something got washed clean? No idea.
Is there anything I should be concerned about? The systems appear to function normally as of now. Will the PCM store those codes or anything? Any thoughts to what happened either? I don't think I really "fixed" anything - just checked it out. Thanks.
