My system monitor doesn't show the doors opening?
Any ideas?

Thank you

If you have an SE, it may not display the doors.

OK, now my 89 SE had the option that WOULD display the doors opening, but I do not know if any of the 92-99 are that way.

Sorry, you may have to go and buy an SSE.

I don't think that option was available on the 92-99 SE'*. They had the Systems Monitor function in the cluster. The SSE'* which had the Electronic Compass/Driver Information Center would show warning of a door being ajar, and trunk ajar. The DIC also included a lamp monitor.

Does anyone have a 95' owners manual that could possibly see if it say they are supposed to show the doors ajar?

I would think yes...seeing it has the picture of the car on the system monitor?

Thanks guys!

I don't have the manual, but if you go to pontiac.com and set up an Owners account, you can download a PDF version of your manual.

WARNING: That site is slooooowwww!!

Does it tell you if your hood and trunk are ajar? Or a bottle?

I'm glad i have a "small dic" (only time i could say that too ) Because it won't get pissy about oil change milage, bulbs, etc. And i like having a rolling odometer, that i can see when the car'* off.

92-99 don't track oil changes. Just doors and bulbs (washer reservior, gas, etc also)
