i'm going to try to get this one working so I can get the car on the road this weekend. Almost finished putting the dash back on. Then i'm going to rip out all the old ignition crap [have had problems before, but they always seemed to fix themselves] and just going to replace it all. the key is totally rounded out, well both of them. I can pull the key[*] out when the ignition is in run. At like autozone, will they have an ignition with the black GM plastic tip thing, to look factory?

yeah maybe, but i'm thinking that because there have been a few problems in the past with the ignition with it being tough to move, and also having some problems with it being loose or some shiznit. I'm just going to replace it, gonna run over to autozone saturday and pick up a new switch and lock cyl. and the tools necessary to complete it all. then sit back, and drive away lol.

Come back inside, really pissed off, and yet.. now i'm trying to figure out how i'm going to fix this shiznit. The key WILL NOT move at all it just stays in the locked position. Do I need a new key igniton setup? or what? can I spray some penetrating oil in there? what should I do so that my stupid car will stop the bs?

lmao, got my car back together.. .
This is long gone and fixed, guys. Replaced Lock Cylinder with a $10 one at Autozone. I want a new one with a key that needs more than a novice lock pick set to get in [tried this and confirmed]. But, that isn't on my list of important things..
