Default Stock Ratings

Went to Advance Auto Parts today to get some stuff, I asked the dude at the checkout line if he carried any Hi Output Alternators in any name, he said no but could order some. So we looked up my car on his little computer, and it came back saying I allready had a 140amp stock alternator in my car; well that all SE models had that stock. Can anyone tell me the correct amperage of the stock alternators? I thought they were 105 for SE models.

My 95 is a stock 140 (build sheet confirms this) but was an upgrade.

there are 3 alts avaliabe for our cars.....105, 125, 140. Most SE'* have the 105, but some have the 125. All SSE, and SSEi'* should have the 125, and some have hte 140. Bill you have the 140 because of the SC

Thanks for the tip. I figure if you love that 140 amp with all that stuff you got in your car, then that should suit me well.
