Just to make it silent. But...do our turn signals run off a solid state timer, or is it a heat/current sensing mechinism? What I'm getting at is if I bought a solid state relay and replaced the current relay, would it still blink with the correct frequency???
The solid state should work but you will have to gut the existing relay out, look for one with an adjustable time base. If you do go with one, solder your connections for a better install.
