Had them in my 87 Astro Van (APC Diamond cut head light convertion) and they worked for a year till i sold it. And did i read corectly :?: ...do are cars use H4 bulbs? because i still have the bulbs(dont worry i have keeped them from being tuched, hit ,jared.... can i use them in my car? is so high'* or low'*? or both?

P.*. if anyone has a car, van, or truck that uses the Big inclosed halogine lights i would sugest upgrading to the APC'* as they nearly tripled my visibility(with silver stars)

We're not talking about OEM.

This topic is specifically about Sylvania Silver Star lamps.

I have had a set of SS (low beam) for more then a year now. But they haven't been in my Bonne for a year. Only since April and before that there were in my last car. But I've had them for 15-16months now; now that I'm saying this they will be burned out tomorrow. lol

I haven't had good luck with Silverstars, very short lived. I had them in the highs, lows & fogs. The fogs burned out within a 3-4 month period. The highs & lows followed within a year of install.
