Silverstar has the edge in my books, had Cools on my Bonne and SilverStars in the Aurora, cuts a nice swath of light...

Silverstar is the up-level light for sure

Thats what they are supposed to do, but they dont. The Silverstars are better but not by much in my opinion. They are whiter and thats why they are brighter by a lil bit more. Then Xenon bulbs on the other hand, are definently well worth the money. Those are brighter & well worth the money. But then again those lights put out 6000k lgihting while the silverstars put out 4000k.

Legally, SilverStars is as high as you can go. If you want HID, thats fine, but in Canada, the Hwy Traffic Act states that HID lamp systems must be a factory installed feature. I got stopped once for my Cool blues...lol, I had the little DOT approval in my console..they let me go...

HID is nice..believe me, Smellbird and Fuddy have em, custom installs...but its expensive, go with Silverstars..well worth it and keep the DOT approval just in case

i just picked up some silverstars for next to nothin and so far they are working out nice bright white light. i still have the yellow hi beams tho ide like to stay within legal limits for the time being. are the head lights that are tinted, legal? ive seen some that are not even close to white...like blue or red.

Silverstars are definately better in my book.I have already noticed a big diference while driving in inclement weather. They seen to cut thru the rain and fog better. I flip on my cool blues and cars 1/2 mile down the road start dimming theirs.
