Searched for trunk, trunk remote, remote problems and a few others so sry if i missed an old thread.

The button to open the trunk on both of my remotes has no effect whatsoever. I just bought the car and I'm sure from the previous owner its been like this for a long time. Since it doesn't work with either remote and the rest of the buttons do (lock, unlock, and OMG FREAK OUT) I'm wondering where the problem may be.

The car has been in relative disrepair for a few years and now that she'* mine i would like to treat her right. First step is to get everything working properly so any idea'* where to start looking would be a major hand.

With the trunk OPEN, do you get any noise or response?

I'll check it out soon as I get the car back, just dropped it off to have the windshield replaced.

check the rear harness on left side of the trunk

I assume the button on the door works. Might be the Remote module

ya my button the door works but my Lock and Trunk dont work....but the unlock does :?

yes bill just saying that the some functions dont work and others do on the same remote. He posted that his other functions did work...

anyway, i think that if the button in the door works, look at the remotes
