Default Remote locks/start question.

Where can I find the fuse and or the sensor that takes signals from the remote? Recently my remote stopped working, so I replaced the battery and it still doesnt work. Nor do either of the other two remotes I have (with new batteries).

The quickest way is to find a piece of the alarm, like the status LED or a valet switch, and follow the wires back to the "brain". There should be a larger wiring harness attached to that where you'll fine the fuse(*).

That'* assuming you have an after market alarm. If it'* factory, you got me.

I think the alarm and keyless entry are factory, and I think it has an aftermarket remote start on it. I don't care about the remote start too terribly much, but I would like for the keyless entry to work. Also since the keyless entry stopped working it seems that the alarm isn't working either. I would also very much like for that to work.

Do you have 2 seperate remotes then - one for the door locks and one for the remote start?

Sorry, been working alot recently. Anyway I have a total of 3 remotes. One is a factory remote that can just lock/unlock the doors and trunk. The other two are aftermarket and can do all that plus start the car (or at least they used to be able to). I will go check on those fueses when my g/f gets back with the car.
