I have the email, and all is good. Thanks for the PDF files! These are great.
Some new questions:
On an 1157 bulb, which side is positive? I see there are two pegs with one higher than the other. I'd look outside, but it'* cold again and too dark to see anything. Also, on the Buss Flasher 552, which poles are X and L? Finally, how much power do 194s and 1157s consume?

Correct me if I'm wrong - 1157 is the dual filament bulb? The brass base is ground & the contacts on the bottom are the positive side for running & stop lights.

Ah, yes! That seems right. I guess the brakes that use 1157 bulbs use the two contacts so the bulb is sometimes brighter while otherwise always on (at night). I'll hook almost all of this up to a power supply as a test.

1st thing I would do is find the Lamp Monitor Control Module (not to be confused with Lamp Control Module). Remove all 3 connectors and check for corrosion. If no corrosion is found then connect a fused (10 amp) wire from the positive battery terminal to each pin on the C1 connector. See if the corresponding light bulb works correctly.

Wow, I lost the FSM auction by $1! This is awful.
So, the lamp monitor control module... I've been wondering about this one. Where do I find it?

I have the 99 manual & it looks like this module might not have changed. Hopefully the location didn't change either. Top of the pic I posted - "Passenger Compartment, Below the Center of the Instrument Panel".

Ah, now I can read that text! Thanks! I'd have to remove the dashboard to get to that, wouldn't I? If so, I'm going to have to hold off on that because I have to finish my car really soon. These toggle switches will have to do until late next month when I can pop out the dash and figure out what went wrong. I'm still going to try to fix it the normal way while running wires all through the car, and I'll continue to look for problems.

Yes I am. I expect a fuse to blow out and kill the lights. It'* a horrible idea, but it'* relatively much better than taking out the dash 5 days before the fines come rolling in. It'* time to get it to move, and I don't want to run the car with the left turn signal going haywire. I sincerely appreciate all the PDFs, pictures, and advice so far. It'* agreeably much, much better than what I'm planning, but also will take more time. When my garage'* construction equipment gets cleaned up, I'm going to do it all the right way.
