Default Question for the Guru'*

I have a Paswix Steering wheel control module.
This peice wires in very easily, and I have some very comprehensive instructions, along with my FSM for exact locations of switched power and grounds.
Here is the problem, the module funtions as it should, however no matter were I take Switched power from and apply ground, my climate control screws up.
The display goes blank minus three dashes were the temperature reading normally would be, fan speed defaults to high setting.
I attached to the stereo, to the Bose amplifier and inside the consol at the seats.
wtf?

Do you have the same problem with an unswitched source? As a test, get your power directly from the battery at the battery. If the problem still exists, you could have a ground loop problem. Try a ground at the battery, or in the engine compartment. If the problem goes away, try a switched source within the fuse box.

That'* what you get when ya post at nearly midnight my time (I sleep weekdays)

Pull your ECC and verify the connection on the back of it is supplying good power and not corroded or dirty.

I pulled power directly from the radio harness.. Where are you grounding?
