Finally put in my AutoMeter A/F gauge today. I know O2 sensors aren't steady state, since they are always switching between lean and rich. But should the reading be jumpy they way mine is? The more gas I give it, the less jumpy it is. Which seems right, but I wanted to make sure.

yes... my brother has one in his car.. and that things jumps all over the place.. it'* normal..

Oh, BTW, at WOT, it reads at the high edge of Stoic., sound about right? What is the range of Stoiciometric on these gauges? Anyone know?

On my first short trip, it read at the rich end of stoic at WOT, now it settled to just below half at WOT. Should it not be richer?

Now I just need my pod from DP so I have a good place to put it.

Also, if I'm at a steady speed, then give it some gas, the signal momentarily drops off the lean end, accompanied with momentary hesitation (that has been plaguing me for a while now), then the fuel catches up and seems to run properly. WHat'* the deal with that?

I think the gauge is working as your car does seem to stumble? Your somehow dropping fuel preasure?
