Default Problems with dashboard on 1996 SSEi

I am experiencing strange problems with my dashboard gauges. I noticed that all the gauges are fine when i first start the car. 15 minutes after start up, the gauges act funny and will be off. The fuel gage will go from have a tank to 3/4, the oil gauge will read from 20psi to 40psi (on idle) and the temp gauge will show from 220* to 200*. Also, the compass isnt accurate and sometimes the gauges will blink reseting everything. Is there a short or is a fuse about to blow? Can someone help?

first thing to check is your battery cables. remove, clean both ends. then check the grounding blocks on both sides of driver and passenger footwell.

here a pic of the grounding block
