Power steering pressure control switch.
I am getting fault code 46 "power steering pressure control switch circuit" on my Canadian-spec 1988 Bonneville SSE.
The power steering pump itself seems fine so I presume it would be this switch at fault. However, I can't find it!
Please can someone tell me exactly where this power steering control switch is on a 1988 SSE?
Also, what does it actually do?

I think that switch is on the base of the rack and pinion where the steering shaft meets it... I believe that this is a switch for pressure or the detection of movement... It actually lets the ECM know the the power steering is under load and the ECM idles the engine up slightly
