x2, even if it's a 105, I MIGHT still get it from you. Do you think it's in good condition? How much?

I had Matt price out one at the GM dealer, 140 amp, for $160. I'm also going to still going to look into a custom build as well tommarow.

well, I got the alternator off yesterday. Now that it is inside and de-thawed, the pulley does turn. But it tends to make a grinding noise once the pulley is manually turned.

Taking it into a shop tommarow for a custom rebuild :D

Are you going to upgrade from 105 A to something more?

At least 140, hoping for something around 150

There is no 150 for yours.

105, 125 (not common, only on 92/93 with the heated windshield option), and 140.

Bill, CUSTOM rebuild. These guys can do just about anything I wanted. I asked for 140 due to me having no big stereo equipment to power.

The rebuilder guy says that some bearing in the alternator was completly fucked up, and said that would cause it to seize. I laughed and replyed telling him I also have a new alternator belt waiting at home once the alternator goes back on

She started up, but now has a clicking noise, guessing the tensioner, AGAIN

Look at 92-99 forum for my other thread regarding the clicking.

Thanks everyone! :D
