For my 1990 car, I have a TRW 103 receiver, and I am using a ABO0116T Remote. As far as I know, this system is so basic, that as long as the remote has plastic buttons with the trunk release on the lower row, then it will work.

can i install a alrm myself???/
is it possible to buy an alarm and change just the alarm box and remote sensor with out having to change all the wires thru the car for the doors and trunk release and stuff.? i am pretty hand with doing stuff my self as i work on electronics and fix audio and video equipment but never did an alarm before in my life., is it that easy... thanks. would,nt want to pay someone for something i can do myself...
