Default need help with power mirrors

I need help in determining how to wire two(2) relays for the adjust feature on power mirrors. I have checked all over the internet but found nothing. I have the power mirror switch but the seller said I weould need to use relays.

Please post up what you have. I'm thinking you need more than two relays to flip your polarity, but it should be something that can be done.

The switch has 7 contacts: #1 is B+ 12v; #2 is driver L/R; #3 is Pass U/D; #4 is Pass L/R; #5 is driver U/D; #6 is motor common; #7 is chassis ground.

How about a link or a name etc. I'd like to see what it is you are working with. Most mirrors have 3-4 wires and they are good w/o relays.

My name is Ed. I have checked the electrical schematics for a 03 Chev p/u and an 06 Cadillac and cannot find any relays used in the power mirrors. I think the reason that the seller of the switch I purchased on EBay states I would need relay(*) was due to the 150 ma rating of the switch. Originally, I was thinking of putting one relay in the switch circuit much the same as a horn (or air horn) circuit, but was not sure if that would be the appropriate thing to do. I looked on EBay for Cadillac power mirror switches but none came with pigtails etc and to try to figure out thje wiring would be next to impossible. Hope this info helps. Thanks

Actually Ed... I was hoping for a link to the mirrors, the switch. It'* all good that you said your name and I was kinda expecting a link to your family tree (c'mon that'* funny) but just one to the parts you are trying to install should do the trick.

Default power mirrors

I apologize for not knowing exactly what you are asking for. I am 81 yrs of age, do not really understand that much about computer jargon etc. What I have is what I have already told you. Have a switch that has 7 contacts, have the mirrors which are already installed with the power fold and signal option working. My current problem is that I have a switch that is rated for 150 ma and the seller stated that I would need a relay(*) to prevent damage to the switch. I have a basic working knowledge of electrical circuits but some things I cannot do. What more do you need from me?

At 150milliamps, that should be pretty low amount of power. Do you need to send a signal out of the switch to a relay to bring the power up a bit to move the mirror motor?
