I do beleive the PCM provides the power for the field.

The brick thing.. uh.. yeah..if you say so. (still have no idea what that was)

lol sorry, on pain med when i wrote it. A kid threw a brick on the road i ran over it and came threw the floor . And took out one of the lower rear sub frame bushings that i just has replaced. Sorry about that .

problem found, inside the alt. the regulator was cracked and was giving some amps out then wouldnt. so when the guy took it apart the regulator came out in 2 pieces. The guy said in the 30 years of rebuilting alt'* this was the 1st one he seen that this happened. so when it was off the car spent the 60 bucks and he rebuilt it. Cars working awesome and fixed alot of the little grimlins also in the car.
