Has anyone here moved or taken out their HVAC controls? I assume everything is electrical (no mechanical components like other cars). I wondered if it has the same "dock-n-lock" style connectors like the radio. I am considering moving them down a few inches to try and squeeze a bigger touch screen into the dash.

Yes, it has the same connectors as the radio, should make for a fair amount of work!
