Default malfunctioning insterment pannel

My temp gauge, fuel gauge, & their back lights are malfunctioning. This followed the light on the left side of my radio display going out. Are these problems connected or individual problems. .

The gauges move during ignition but are incorrect.

Back lights don't come on at all.

Any hints will be greatly appreciated. :?

So, it'* just the backlights for those gauges (discounting the radio)? What are they reading? Did this all happen at one time, or over a period of time?

Your car must have rolled off the assembly line right after mine. I'll be watching this thread closely.

for as cheap as the instrument clusters are on ebay (around $50), I'd just get a new one. You have some weird problems.

Of course there'* the issue with reprogramming the mileage... stored in the PCM but maintained in the cluster too.

Carefully though. Notice the four corners on the PCB? They seem to have a locking post that holds the smaller PCB onto the larger one. You dont want to break anything.
