Default Malfunctioning indicator chime

I have an indicator chime on my 1994 ssei that dosen't go off. It started when I ran low on washer fluid but even when I filled it there was no effect... When I start the car it is not on, but once I start to move it comes on and won't go off... How can I correct or just plain disengage it???

Try disconnecting the electrical connector at the washer tank low level sensor.

Does it indicate any problem or just ding constantly?

Is there ANY indication of anything on your DIC? Even a yellow highlighted area or any yellow showing at all? Can you take a pic of your DIC while the chime is sounding? Any lights on the dash at all? Brake light? Do all your indicators and lights on the dash and DIC work on powerup?

It may be a real issue, but your dummy light warning may be out. A constant dinging CAN (among other things) indicate impending master cylinder failure.
