Default Lights were stuck on, needed to pull battery cable...

I have a 1995 SLE as stated in my sig, today as i started my car and went to the local barber shop, i got out noticing the lights on, thinking it was twilight sentinel and maybe i was under a shadow before, i went in thinking nothing of it. As I sat in there, I realized they were not turning off, and another odd thing, the foglights were not on with the lights, even though the switch in the car indicated so. I tried cycling the twilight sentinel on/off, even the manual switch, nothing got me any response whatsoever. I drove home with the low beams and all regular lights stuck on, now here I am I pulled out the battery cable and put it back, and everything seems fine.

1. What could cause this? It'* only happened once before and the last time parking the car stopped it.

2. I have read at one point there is a recall on certain vin bonneville'* regarding the lamp control module in regards to twilight sentinel. The recall states the lights can get stuck on out of nowhere, and also shut off with the sentinel on out of nowhere. Is this what I have?

Have you ever pulled your headlight switch yet? The '95s are known for headlight switch problems, and it may be melted.

Headlight switch has been replaced already with a 96-up revised model.

I had a problem with the Twlight Sentinal before but it was with my gauge lights WOULDNT turn on I took out the switch and it was melted, I replaced it and after that had no problem with it at all but nothing concerning the headlamps, actually one thing the sentinal has a mind of its own most of the time.

I am so annoyed I am ripping out the new switch to see what'* going on, is there a module elsewhere that can be replaced? This is probably one of those effected cars and GM doesn't want to own up to the recall cause i've called them before....
