Default Interior lights not working when door opens

The interior lights for my 93 SSE do not come on unless they are manually activated from the light switch. I have checked the Interior lamp relay and fuse and they are OK. I believe it may be the Remote Accessory Control Module however I do not know where it is and what it looks like. Can anyone help with this problem?

The RAC module is located to the right of the ECM above the passenger'* hush panel. It'* a little bigger than a pack of smokes and is a black plastic box.

have you tested all of the doors? Try that first to see if the problem in maybe in the driver'* door. The diagram shows two fuse possibilities that supply the RAC: fuse 3 (40 amp) in LH underhood fusebox is equipped with forced entry security (UA6 option) or fuse 3 (15 amp) in relay center without UA6 option. Verify your options and check the appropriate fuse. If that checks out, then locate the RAC module. Ground the WHI wire in cavity C and check for dome light operation. The white wire is the door open input to the RAC module. If still no lights ground the DK BLU wire in cavity J. This should trigger a relay in the relay center and the lights should go on. If the lights only turn on when grounding the DK BLU wire then I'd say that the RAC module is bad. If they still don't go on, we need to dig deeper.
