They turn on by themself. Last night my GF walked into the garage and she said that the lights inside just came on. I know it wasn't me hitting the remote button because both sets of keys were not even on me. Also sometimes when you are in the car with the key on but not running, they will just turn on and go off, one time the door chimmed, along time ago. Whats up with that?

Sounds like electrical gremlins. Might be a corroded ground bus or a malfunctioning body control module. If you hadn't mentioned the chimes, I would have also thought that maybe the lamp module or the light switch could be aging. Chimes, lights, and door locks all go through the body contol module or MALL.

I would start with checking the ground buss on the driver'* side, under the carpet and door sill plate.
