what and where is the DIC module that you guys speek of?
Is it just hte whole circuit board that the dispay screen is on?

I have had DIC problems for quite awhile now but the screen is just really dim. I can only see it at night and even then i still have to squint. Every once and awhile when I first start the car it is bright, but after 10 seconds or so it dims down again. All the other cluster components work just fine. I have taken it all apart and cleaned connections with no luck.
Any suggestions ?

Here'* the inside. It is sooooo easy!

I have just taken the whole cluster apart, cleaned every single possible connection inside the cluster and the 2 plugs that connect the cluster to the car itself.
and none of that helped.

that is what I was kinda thinking but where to find one ? I will probably have to buy a whole guage cluster because nobody wants to tear apart a cluster for one little piece.
GM says that it is no longer available.

thanks for you advice and quick responses !!!
