Default How to Switching from MPH to KPH on a digital display?

I am wondering how to switch from MPH and Mileage to KPH and Kilometers on my digital displays in my 1999 SSEi? I looked through my owners manual for almost one full hour and didn't see anything on how to switch.
I know the 1992-95? have a switch by the HUD controls, but my 1999 doesn't.
Anyone know how?
Thanks in advance,
Martin

The HUD switch only controls the HUD. We need a service manual for the 99. I bet you have to put in a few jumper wires.

I'm trying to switch the main digital guages also.
I'm picking up a 1992-1995 HUD control pod to see if that will hook up, but it probably won't and if it does no doubt the pin-out will be totally different.
Look at it as a learning experience -I know I will.

My totally-unscientific guess here is that it'* going to turn out to just be a jumper pin on a circuit board in the gauge cluster. After all, the pulse-counting and whatnot that'* used to calculate road speed doesn't need to be different; it'* only a matter of whether the answer on the dashboard is going to be displayed in MpH or KpH.

ok gearheads.. I was wondering if I can get a PDF file sent to you guys of a HUD wiring from a 95.. you think you guys can figure it out?? ( Reason I"m being so generous is if it helps them great.. and if I can use it on my 97 SSEI.. BONUS ) and if you guys don't mind doing the hard part of going thru it.. THEN LIFE WOULD BE A BOWL OF CHERRIES for us all .. hee hee... talk about puttin our resident gearhead in a hard position.

might be weird saying this but I think the only way I know is if the HUD is in Km/H is if you were in Canada or something unless you had the 92-96? HUD with the switcjh for km/h to mph

Did you check http://134.39.200.6:9001/home.html for your wiring diagram? If you can't find a 97, then try the 98, then the 96, then the 99. Those are probably more applicable.
