Default How can I make this 96 traction control button work

Ive got a 92 bonne SSE. The traction and performance shift buttons were not working so I went to the junkyard. All I could find was one out of a 96 I think it was. I bought it got it home and then noticed that it has plug ins. My wires are made directly into the circuit board. Also mine only has 4 wires and then 2 wires. The new switch has 6 wires and 4 wires. Is there any way I can wire this switch in using my wires. On another note Ive only had the car for a little over a month and Im discovering it needs more work than I thought. So I guess Ill be asking everyone for help often. Thanks in advance because I know you guys can help me.

You want the switch pod from a 92-93 (maybe 94?) for plug/play. The extra wires on the 96 pod are for CCR, which you don't have.

I know the pods in my two cars (93/95) are not compatible. Contact billboost37 if you need a new early-gen pod. Keep in mind, he'* enroute to Ohio right now to have his trans rebuilt at INTENSE. He may respond quickly, but won't be able to ship to you until thursday at the soonest.
