horn stopped working after alarm went off
After I accidentally set off the alarm when I opened the passenger door while it was armed. After that the horn stopped working. Any suggestions? I've taken the steering wheel apart to fix the stereo controls and that didn't seem to fix the horn. Also the trunk light comes on during the day, but not at night when it'* actually useful. :(
Thanks for the help in advance!

While the horn can die.. the 92-99 has a better position for not being filled with dirt and road debris. Check the fuses etc. There'* a good chance it blew.
Also check the relay for clicking.

Actually a test light is much easier in this case. One leg to the negative battery terminal (Black) and the other into the connector that goes to the horn. Press the button...does the test light turn on?

the relay isn't always reliable, just for listening to the clicking. My buddy'* GA'* horn went and he replaced the relay, even though it still clicked and after attempting everything else. The horn worked. So he pulled apart the old relay and the connection prongs had corrosion on them preventing a proper circuit.
Right...most of the time the terminals don't build up enough carbon to stop working..however it does happen.
Currently my horn is intermittent. I'm betting on a carboned up relay.
The clicking of the relay is the first step tyically in testing for power to the relay and heading first to a fuse or relay.
