Heated Seats
Well- I went to the yard today, and to my suprise, I found a 98 Deville Concours, with heated seats. So I went to look in the tool box, and I have everything except a knife. So I went in search, to see if I could find somthing to cut the pads out with, and I found swiss armt knife not too far from the caddy. So the cutting began, and the blade broke off, after the last cut was made in the leather! So this knife literally served its purpose, then became useless. I took the pieces up the desk, and this one (i can't stant him, always trys to rip me off) and he like "OMG, why did you cut the seats? what is this? and I explained, then he said "you're actually going to put these in your car? wow, how much do you want to pay- so I ended up gibving him 30 for the pads, but the jerk still charged me for the relays eventhough, you need these to make it work.
So I got the harnesses, the relay and some switches to use for the time being. So I call on Geoff, Bill and Randy- as I need to know where to tap into, fuse sizes etc, as I acidentally deleted the PMs that Geoff and Bill had sent me. Not sure if this is different than the 93-95 cadillacs, as these came out of a 98. The harness that connects to the power has the A pin being orange, B as brown, and C as black. Im guessing that C is ground, but Im not sure about the other two colors. Help me please!
thanks

Easy as pie Mike..
Hook the relays to the pads...there should be that last connector coming off. How many wires do you have coming off it? Sounds like 4. If that'* the case I have the info at home and can tell you quick and easy.
10amp fused +12V
Ground
Input on (+12V when switch is on)
Control wire for temp (300 ohm on low, 210 ohm for high)
Like I said..diagram at home, unless Geoff has it electronically still and can send it. I can get you the info tonight.

Price depends on the yard.
1 yard said.. "heated seats...have a nice day" $0 for my set
another yard wanted $50
Next year $30
Anyone that has gone yarding knows..many times your price ends up depending on how many coffees and donuts the guy behind the counter had that morning.
Ebay has a set for $100 brand new. I don't think there are as many or as good of quality pads as the cadillacs. A buddy at a stereo shop showed me their kits. 1 small back pad 1'x1' and one seat pad 1'x1'. The pads I got cover the whole seat and it is very nice to have even heating.
