Default Fuse Box

Alright, I am going to post this at the risk of sounding like a total nut job around all the hardcore bonnie fans.

I recently bought a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI and love it!!!!!! However, the Interior lights have recently stopped working either with the door or the switch. Now, I know enough about cars in general that I am postive it is most likely just a fuse. My new love has made a fool out of me though when I discovered that I can not locate any fuse box other then the one under the hood. I was assuming that it was up under the dash on either the driver or passanger side but either I am blind or it really isn't there. Can someone please tell me where the foolish fuse box is so I can show my new car that I am not a total moron?

Edit: Forgot to add in the first post... Since I bought this used I was not lucky enough to get the manaul with it, that would have answered this question.

Those days are over, it'* probably a $100 module!

There is some truth to that but I'm just kidding around. There are some fuses in the back of the interior. I think they're under the back seat near where the battery is located. Your owner'* manual should show you or someone with your model will chime in. Have your carpets ever gotten really wet?

Alright, there'* a couple different components that need to be looked at in addition to the above suggestions. The INT LP Relay (#51) in the rear fuse block could have failed. The Rear integration Module (RIM) controls operation of the INT LP Relay based on input (serial bus) from the Driver Door Module (DDM), the DDM comunicates with the 3 other door modules to status which door is open/shut. So, you can see things are not that simple anymore. Just about everything is processor controlled. Did you try to turn the interior lights on manually? All interior lights are inoperable? A quick check would be to interchange the relay with another one of the same type & like Jim C. called out, check fuse #27 at the rear fuse block.

Wow! You're a lucky person. It is not always just a fuse with many of these electrical problems. Glad it is resolved, but what blew the fuse I wonder?

Ya... thats what I figure did it. I had a couple days in there when I was waiting on parts for the window regulator( go figure ) and the window stayed about 1/4 of inch open. It drizzled a little that night and the back floor board on the passanger side got a little damp...
