I picked up a couple different proms from the boneyard, from the same year Bonneville as mine, I disconnected the battery and changed the prom, but the car will only start for a sacond then die, if I put the old prom back in it starts fine, should I replace the whole computer?

well the car runs ruff every once in awhile, and was told the computer was bad because someone had hooked up a stereo system and over loaded the system, suposivley messing up the computer

well it'* got new plugs, wires, had the ICM checked, and the only code coming up is #22 TPS low voltage, was a different code, High volyage, and I took it off and put it back on, and now it'* low voltage ! I didn't think the TPS would make the car run ruff sometimes, and being told that there was a problem with the computer, I thought that I would change the prom or the computer to se if that helped ?

On the 92 Models the TPS needs to be Calibrated.... You can't just bolt it on.. So make sure the TPS is set to spec..
If its off at all you will have idle issues in a bad way right down to a stall out..
I'll give you an example..
My 95 had a TPS fail.. There is no adjustment for it.. The idle was anywhere from 700-1200 Rpms.. It was nuts..
Also for the EPROM... Actually for the 88-93'* it was a MEM-CAL... 92 is years specific, as is 93... In other words the 93 MEM-CAL will not work in the 92..
This is different for the 88-91 Bonnevilles... I can use any MEM CAL from 88-91 as long as it has the proper gear ratio
