last week i discovered why my tranny wasnt shifting right at all,the vacumm distributor block,one of the fat rubber hoses wasnt even hooked up it..i pulled one out of another bonnie,and i get it all hooked up,knowing that this thing is hooked up to the ECM,i pull the ECm fuse overnight,to clear it..now the shiftiing is really intermittent,at times she shifts perfectly at 1800RPM'* other times it takes her to 4000+...this is really starting to bother me,the tranny is in perfect working order,no slipping,smooth shifts...anyone know how the computer reacts to this?...i have a feelings its something electronic related....

the ECU has nothing to do with the shifts, the tranny does it all, and notifies the ECU.

The shifts are determined by the TPS sensor, or at least by TP. So, either the variable is how hard you are on the gas [easy fix, just use the same throttle], or shift it manually.. which I like better anyways.
