Driver seat electrical problem

The driver seat on my 1999 bonneville moves back and forth without warning.
how do I troubleshoot this.

Does it have memory seat? If not, I would suspect the seat switch is your problem.

I found the control box that mounts under the drivers seat at a junkyard for $9.00.
