the computer on the dash dosen't see that my ds door is closed ,leaving the lights on , so i unhooked my battery , would that sensor be in the door?? any had this experience yet??
Every door has a switch inside the door on the latch. The front doors also have a switch on the door handles. All the switches work by grounding at the infamous ground buses on both the driver & passenger side. Start by checking the ground buses. See Techinfo>electrical>other.
Now you'll have to check the switch in the driver'* door. I think the switch is open when the door is closed & closed when the door is open. Just unplug the switch & see if the light goes out.
