Default door locks, chimes, interior lights

I have a 97 Bonneville SE with a weird problem:

The interior lights don't work, door locks don't lock (but I do get the horn blip when I use the remote) and I get no warning chimes. The retained accessories feature and the remote trunk latch still work.

If I disconnect the battery for about 10 seconds and reconnect it, every thing works again, for awhile, until it doesn't.

This is approaching the hair pulling stage and I have limited resources in that area.

Anybody got a clue?
thanks

Bumpy bump.

I can see this being a mall module (it controls the functions) or a ground buss issue...maybe a fuse?

Thanks, I have been thinking the module too, although from what I have been reading, my Bonnie has the Remote accessories module instead of the MALL.

I have been having trouble locating fuse number 2 which is what feeds the B+ to the module, do you know where it might be located?

I was thinking seriously about the ground buss or a fuse until I realized that the problem goes away after I disconnect the battery, but I should check these anyway

Thanks for your reply
