I replaced the crank position sensor and still have a code P0336. Why is this? and is there anything else to check. Will this bother if I run it this way? Terminals where clean at the cps connection.

Assuming you cleared the code after putting the sensor on.. I'd suggest checking the wiring harness down to it.
