Today I put the ECC from my 99 parts car in my 92. It pluged in and came on. Should I expect problems??? It seems to work fine. Any Input??

you also need the ECC programmer to make the system work like the newer models

The programmer is an electrical control box that mounts below the glove box. You can recognise it by the vacum line harness that is attatched to it.

I know that it'* been confirmed 93+ that yes, they are plug and play. While I can't see 92 being different, I don't have the access to an FSM to check and say it positively.

You should know that if you do the swap, you'll lose your ability to self-diagnose any climate control problems in the future. 92 and 93 ECC'* had this feature. Later ECC'* do not.
