Default Changing Corner Lights

Hi!

I am planning to replace a broken front corner lamp assembly. Is there anything in particular I need to look out for, or is the process pretty straightforward?

Thanks for the info!

Remove headlight Via the thumb screws
pull headlight out
2 10mm bolts hold the corner in
twist out the light in the corner
remove corner

reverse for installation

The thumb screws will probably require a good pair of pliers. When reinstalling add a dab of antiseize compound to lube them from having the issue again.

Thanks. I saw the thumbscrews on the headlights and the bolts holding the corner lights in, and figured that'* what I would need to do.

Should be easy and straightforward. If you can..you might want to spray the threads on those thumbscrews with PB Blaster today before the light arrives. I've seen two where the bracket threaded insert turned because they were stuck so badly.

No...not yet! Sheeesh...give a guy a chance willya?

I plan on doing that, plus change a trans mount in my Saturn this weekend. But dont worry...I am sure it wont be hard.

I will have to post a replacement photo for that one where you noticed the broken one in the first place!

Thanks,
John

PS. I posted some early mpg results after I changed the O2 sensor in my mpg thread. The change seems to be remarkabke!
