Default Can someone please help-power door lock problem.

It'* the 1990 Bonneville SE'* doors, the driver'* door is always unlocked when I go to my car every morning.Keep in mind that I always lock my doors. And it'* only the drivers door that unlocks on its own, the remaining three doors are not unlocked. Is there anything that I could disconnect like a fuse or something. I don't care if I don't have remote unlock anymore. I have never used the remote keyless entry ever.
Sorry for the long post. I don't feel safe if my door unlocks by itself during the night.

this definatly has to do with your keyless entry system as only the keyless entry can unlock JUST the drivers door..

Over by the droplight. Does he need to pull the dash or can he just pull the hush panel or glove to get at it?

its attached to the back of the face of the dash above the glovebox. if you remove the glovebox, its realy hard to get to, but i ended up getting mine out... see if you can find a sse with a failed one at a junk yard. usually they just fail and will allow you to stil use your locks.

I have a Crown Victoria that used to do the same thing, the interior light would come on for 15 seconds also. It ended up being the module in the door, the key pad was a little funny too. I found mine one night about 12:30 AM when I looked out and watched the interior light go out (I live in the middle of the country) and figured someone was just in it, I had my oldest call 911 while I looked around with my pistol, 3 cop cars later and a thorough search of my barn and property, the cops left.........just as the last one left.......the interior lights came on again.
