Default Bumper Kit Install Question

Ok, so I was searching through this forum and I tried to match my problem with one that had already been posted and diagnosed. My door locks would only close electronically and would not open electronically (only manually). I found a post that talked about a "Bumper Kit." I removed my door panels (I have a question about that as well) and this is what I found:

I can't seem to figure out where this bumper goes or what I need to remove in order to get to it.

Furthermore, I want to totally remove my door panel, however I can't seem to get this off in order to have it totally removed:

The bumper kit would be in further...

Let'* get that master switch off first. See that tab on this side. The other side has a corresponding tab. Gengly hold those out of the way and pull on the wires/connector wiggle and it'll come off. Then your door panel is free.

Now..the bumper kit.. not a very common thing.. but possible. Look inside the door up by the door handle... there is an actuator there and somewhere on it is a rubber bumper... that'* the one.

I actually purchased an entirely new actuator and after a solid two hour fight with my door, I replaced the old acctuator with the new one. I picked one up for a decent price from the junk yard and shes working like new
