Default Blower Motor dying? or is it the resistor?

I need to replace my blower motor, I haven't looked at it yet but i have lost like 98% of the power from my heating/air. I can still feel it but its literally non existent. Before this happened I would feel it, then it went out and if I knocked the dash it would pick up a little but go back out. Is there any way to check to make sure its not the resistor? I checked prices online and the resistor is like 152 dollars compared to 57 for the motor? any tips or help is GREATLY appreciated

To rule out the blower motor, connect 2 wires from the battery directly to the blower. If it runs, then the motor is good.

Now remove the resistor from the air duct that'* on the engine firewall. Test it using a multimeter. If it'* ok, I would look at the speed controller on the dash panel.

BTW, what year and model is this?

wow thank you in advance for the help.. Its a 2005 Bonneville GXP with 86,000 miles on it.. I have a feeling that the motor will still turn since i feel a little(barely anything) air coming out. Should I pay attention to the speed at which the motor turns at? Like if it looks slow and barely turning at all, should i just replace the motor? I'm really praying its the motor haha thanks again
