Default Angel Eyes Install (w/ Pix)

Hey all... here'* another repost... this one is of my Angel Eyes install. (97SSEi)

Remove the stock fogs and their brackets...

Remove the brackets from the stock fogs....

Install the Angel Eyes onto the stock brackets....

I wired my main bulb inot the existing fog light power so that my stock overhead switch would work. I wired the power for the halos/rings into a switch that I placed inside the car and a relay to the interior dashlights.

The 3 lighted buttons are for 1:Inside Neon/LEDs 2:Angel Eye Halos 3:Grill LEDs

Mount the lights back into the bumper....

And then aim them and you're done....

I wish I had thought to do that with the brackets! I just cut the factory bracket until it fit! Looks nice (surprised no-one has said anything...)

Very nice pics. I have a buddy that I am going to install angel eyes on his 01 bonneville. He told me that he doesn't want any switches in the car, he wants the angel eyes to be on when his parking lights-side lights- are on. Also if I end up putting in a swtich how do I wire it up, sorry for all the noob questions but I don't work with electricity much. Also how long did it take you to install those?

I got mine at Pepboys. 55watt bulb, all wires, switch and relay for power. I wired the driving light portion up to the exsisting fog light switch, the angel eye part I hooked up to a seperate switch and installed it in the car. TaylorD hooked his angel eye portion up to his parking lamps, so he did not have to install another switch, but I don't know if they "blink" when he puts on his turnsignal.

The lights were $59.95 @ pepboys.

Correct, no new switches for me. And NO they don't blink with the turn signals. The main headlight harness is where I tapped in. The eye turns on automaticaly when car actavates the twlight sensoror parking lapms, when day time running light go off, my eyes come on. Or when I turn the parking lights on. The fog switch controls the main 55watt bulb just as stock bulb turn on.

Really easy to do and the Angle eyes are well worth it. Also got mine at PepBoys.

The halo'* arent' (but might be locally, included in 'neon' laws). The wattage of the bulbs is regulated by the NHTSA. Even my Navigators are too bright for legal highway use. Make sure you aim them right, and you probably won't get any grief.
