I found some other kits. One from APC seven color, but driving lights I think. Another from Pilot, 3 color NEON fog light. I saw a mention of a seven color fog from Pilot, but can't find any other info on it.

I'm not sure but I think the stock fog light housing have a shield in them to prevent the light from emitting upwards.

Wow, it took about 20 reads to understand what you were driving at. Yes, the stockers have the stupidest shield that renders the light output from the top 25% of the bulb useless. Why? I dont know.

Ok, found the info on the seven color Pilot Angel Eye Fog Lights. Part PL-362W
The color changes with the push of a button, and the button lights up the same color as the eyes.

How much modification is needed to make the Hella Angel Eyes fit in a Bonneville? Is the stock bonnie foglight switch capable of handling the extra wattage? i know mine gets pretty warm...

Not much modding at all.... the Hella Optilux fit in with ease....
I'll repost the pix of my install sometime soon.

If you bought the driving lights and wanted some yellow H3 bulbs PIAA makes them... but I would guess that they would be pretty expensive. :o

We're talking beam pattern here, not color. Driving lights point a lot further down the road. Fogs are low and wide.

Yes, I know. But yellow is a better color for fog... so I thought I would say that.
