Yes, just a shade over 14v as indicated on the instrument cluster voltmeter.

I was wondering this as I had to check a freinds alt, it was putting out 14.5v dead on.. His problem ended up being the battery... His has the Delphi unit, I think all of the Delphi units put out 14v just about all of the time..

Alternator Output...
 
I have a 2004 Buick Leasbre with the 3800 in it and a Delphi Alt. It runs 15.1-15.3 when cold and a 14.9.15.1 when hot with a factory Delphi Battery. I replaced the battery with a 1.5 yrd old Everstart Maxx and it was just fine. A battery will normally start screaming you at around 16v.
