Default '95 Bonneville headlight switch options?

My '95 Bonneville appears to have the infamous melting headlight switch syndrome. Last week, the dash lights stopped working. They came back over the weekend, but were gone again last night.

My understanding is the best fix for this is to get a headlight switch and connector from a '96-'99 Bonneville and splice the wires in. I'm headed to the junk yard this week to find a new switch, but I have a question.

Are there other GM cars of that era that used the same switch? I'd just like to maximize the odds of finding a good replacement.

If you find the swtich on Rockauto and then click the part number it'll tell you any other cars that it interchanges with. Although I think that'* a Bonneville only switch.

I went to the junkyard and snagged a switch from a '96 Bonneville the other day and installed it this afternoon. Everything went smooth and I have dash lights once again! As predicted, several contacts on the old switch looked burnt and the connector on the wiring harness was melted.

Interestingly, the dash lights seem brighter now than they did with the old switch. I had always thought they were a bit too dim, but put it down to getting used to the red dash lights. The Twilight Sentinel still doesn't work, but I guess I can live with that.
