Default 94 program keyless remote - help for friend

My friend needs to program his keyless remote for his 94. I read techinfo. Call me stupid but what is a "fused jumper" and where are these pins I'm supposed to connect? Thanks!

EDIT: I take it the pins are for the connector under the dash.

fused jumper is something like wire where you connect the 2 pins together...its a good idea to have it fused just in case

the pins are in the DLC....(where the scantool plugs in) under the dash above the drivers side foot well

Ok. So I get this jumper, connect the pins with the ignition OFF, close all doors, then press unlock/lock until it works? Ignition stays OFF the entire time. :?:

I'm guessing the 3" wire mentioned is in place of the jumper? But it says to use a jumper anyway...that'* why they seemed confusing.

I would go out and get this fuser but Bingo is flooded from what I hear. Hopefully I won't get stuck here, I need to drive 3 hours home.

I've never personally used a fused jumper. Just a wire. Once or twice, I actually just had driverjohn put his tounge on my ALDL connector and that worked too.
