91 chevy s10 electrical problem

Default 91 chevy s10 electrical problem

recently bought a 91 chevy s10 and about a week later i plugged my i pod fm transmitter in to the cigarette lighter with the interior lights on and the interior light went out, only the one on the roof though not by the feet i thougth it was weird but then the factory stereo time was reset, it was switch back to am and whenever i open the door or turn on the lights it goes back to am,the next day i realized that when i honk my horn the roof interior light turns on,the radio goes quiet and i hear a buzzing sound.
this is really annoying any help please

Without ever having owned an S10, I'd start with the fuses. Check for any fuses and go from there.

Since you mentioned the cigarette lighter plug, trace the wires for that and make sure the power wire isn't grounded somewhere or that there isn't any bare wire exposed.
